Recently, authorities in Ho Chi Minh City have issued a decision to administratively sanction two motorcycle parts businesses in District 5 for trading counterfeit NGK trademarks that have been protected in the Vietnamese market.

Specifically, at Ms. Trinh Thi My Phat's Tan Thanh Phat motorcycle parts business at 164 Yangtze Giang, Ward 15, District 5, Ho Chi Minh City, the Market Management Team No. 5 found 240 fake spark plugs bearing the NGK brand. After that, the authorities issued a decision to administratively fine Ms. Trinh Thi My Chi 6 million VND for selling counterfeit goods, confiscating and destroying 240 fake NGK spark plugs, suspending business activities for 02 months. It is estimated that the value of counterfeit brands at this establishment is 4.8 million VND.

Also in District 5, the authorities discovered 197 fake NGK motorcycle spark plugs at Van Phuoc business household owned by Ms. Luong My Hao, with a business address at 105 Do Ngoc Thanh, Ward 15, District 5, Ho Chi Minh City. HCM. For the act of selling counterfeit goods, Ms. Luong My Hao received an administrative sanction with the amount of 6 million VND, at the same time, all fake NGK spark plugs were destroyed. Similar to Tan Thanh Phat store, Van Phuoc store was asked to suspend business operations for 02 months.

Exhibits were seized by authorities at spare parts stores in District 5, Ho Chi Minh City.
