Within the framework of the activities of the Minicar Racing 2020 contest, on the morning of 12th June, 2020; at Cao Thang Technical College (Ho Chi Minh City) held a technical workshop on NGK Spark Plugs Vietnam and Motul Lubricant Vietnam, organized by the Faculty of Dynamic Engineering in collaboration with the Youth Union.

Attending the seminar were nearly 300 students from teams registering for this year's competition, from schools: Cao Thang Technical College, Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology, University of Technical Education, Nguyen Tat Thanh University, Ton Duc Thang University, Saigon University, Van Lang University, Ho Chi Minh City College of Economics and Technology, Southern College and Dong An High-Tech College.
The hall has nearly 300 students from teams registering for the competition.
The main content of the program includes:
- Motul Vietnam Lubricant Technical Seminar;
- Vietnam NGK Spark Plug Technical Workshop;
- Workshop on design and manufacture of Minicar Racing model vehicle control system.
The workshops provided a lot of in-depth technical knowledge, practical experience in selecting and using lubricants, spark plugs in maintenance and repair, building model cars to participate in the Minicar Racing 2020 competition.

To increase the excitement, NGK has prepared many gifts to encourage students when volunteering to answer questions raised by NGK spark plug experts, or ask the opposite question for the program.

In addition to providing knowledge and technical information about spark plugs - an important part necessary for each model car to operate, NGK also has an actual product display area in front of the hall, to bring the most specific and visual visualization for students to refer to.

In the coming time, NGK spark plugs will also continue to create more opportunities to interact with students to support the teams, progressing to a successful tournament.

Minicar Racing is a homemade model car racing competition, controlled remotely via mobile phone using wifi protocol. This is a playground for students who love technology and engineering, want to apply the knowledge they have learned in real life. In particular, in 2020, the school introduced the theme "Road to zero waste" to respond to the movement to reduce plastic waste, directing the teams to use recycled and environmentally friendly materials, contributing to spreading the message of green living in the Vietnamese student community.
In order to increase the competitiveness and drama of the competition, this year the Organizing Committee has expanded the track and expanded the audience even more. The scale of the contest is expected to have 500 students participating (equivalent to about 100 teams) from 10 universities and colleges in the Ho Chi Minh City area. HCM and 02 foreign team schools. The teams will spend 04 months competing fiercely to advance to the final round in early August 2020.
