Challenge for change - The "garbage removal trend" a year ago has caused a fever around the world, so far there are no signs of cooling down. This is a trend that deserves encouragement and maintenance. For NGK Spark Plugs Vietnam Co., Ltd., in addition to its efforts to ensure traffic safety, activities to protect the environment and improve life values are always an important and regular task, not only taking place in movements or symbolizing.

In accordance with that orientation, within the framework of the Company Trip program in July 2019 in Con Dao, the Company's Board of Directors organized for all employees a garbage collection session on the beach. The activity was extremely enthusiastically responded to by employees.

Early in the morning, members discovered a coastal area littered with trash with countless plastic bags, spring water bottles, and broken shoes,... These types of garbage are especially difficult to decompose, causing heavy environmental pollution and harming marine life.

To arouse more teamwork and enthusiasm for work, the siblings wore the same bright red shirt with the NGK Spark Plug logo.

Although there was a lot of garbage and it started to get sunny, but with enthusiasm and concentration, within three hours, the garbage in the entire beach area was neatly collected into dozens of bags. The whole team took turns carrying garbage bags to a nearby collection site for the garbage factory to treat.

Looking back on the achievements, everyone feels extremely proud to have returned to a corner of Con Dao landscape the inherent wild beauty.

Cleaning up garbage is not a new or big job, but it has practical implications for the community. Where people go, there's garbage. Therefore, more and more volunteer organizations such as Bugi NGK Vietnam, this model will be replicated more. Through the program, NGK spark plugs not only help employees train themselves but also contribute to environmental hygiene.
