NGK Spark Plug brand owned by NGK Spark Plugs Group (Japan) is covering the Vietnamese market. Because this is a strong brand that consumers trust highly, it has been counterfeited by many units, causing adverse effects on NGK Group and reducing the safety of vehicles. Therefore, NGK spark plugs always coordinate with Vina CHG Company and functional forces to continuously check organizations and individuals trading goods that infringe on its industrial property rights.

Recently, in Ca Mau and Gia Lai, local market management forces have discovered a number of motorcycle parts businesses selling fake NGK goods. Through investigation, they confiscated a total of 51 fake spark plugs and imposed an administrative fine of VND 24 million.

Counterfeit product samples are detected and seized by functional forces.

In Gia Lai, Phuoc Hung Long store (385 Hung Vuong, Pleiku City) owned by Mr. Lieu Duc Hung, was administratively sanctioned, suspended from business for 02 months and forced to destroy all counterfeit NGK spark plugs.

In Ca Mau province, the No. 1 Market Management Team coordinated with the Inspection – Legal Department, Operations – General Department to inspect and detect 02 violations in Ca Mau and administratively handled 18 million VND; detained 34 spark plugs of Hoang Vu store (185 Nguyen Tat Thanh), represented by Mr. Do Quoc Khanh and 09 spark plugs of Sy store (269 Ly Thai Ton, Ward 4) owned by Mr. Vo Van Sy with similar sanctions.

These are just a few small cases that have been detected recently. NGK Spark Plugs still have many more measures to completely solve the problem of counterfeit goods with increasing sophistication today. In addition to always vigilantly reviewing and destroying illegal places of genuine aviation, NGK spark plugs also strengthen measures to raise people's awareness, help them know how to distinguish real goods and protect themselves.
