On the morning of 02nd August, 2021; the Organizing Committee of Mini Car Racing 2021 sent a notice of cancellation of the event to students, sponsors ... due to the complicated development of the Covid-19 epidemic and based on the Directives - Dispatches of Ho Chi Minh City on strengthening a number of epidemic prevention and control measures in the city. 

As such, it is a pity that after so much effort by all individuals and collectively, the tournament was still forced to stop. This also means the suspension of the Media Awards competition - an important prize within the framework of Mini Car Racing.

The Mini Car Racing competition in 2021 was officially canceled due to the impact of the Covid-19 epidemic.

However, since launching in March 2021, the Organizing Committee has accompanied the contestants to carry out many meaningful activities to guide the teams to understand the common theme and flexibly apply to successfully create products to compete in the races. In addition, the lecturers also enthusiastically helped the students in consulting and repairing short video clips attending the Media Awards, which resulted in 07 completed videos and are being posted on the media channels of Cao Thang Technical College and NGK Vietnam spark plugs.

The videos for the Media Awards were posted by the organizers and received many votes from the audience.

In order for the achievements not to be wasted and forgotten, the Organizing Committee will temporarily save the voting results obtained in 2021. In 2022, when the epidemic is pushed back, the Mini Car Racing competition will restart, those who love the teams that competed in 2021 will continue to have the opportunity to support more. In addition, other activities on the sidelines of this year's competition will be maintained in the new year to connect the previous and latter categories more seamlessly.

The voting results of 07 teams participating in the Media Awards 2021 will be saved by the Organizers for next year.

Above all the difficulties ahead, we have the right to hope and look forward to the return of Mini Car Racing 2022 even stronger and more aggressive in the coming year!

Mini Car Racing was held for the 6th time, which is a competition applying 4.0 IOT technology controlled via wifi. This year's contest has the theme of Discover Future, conveying the desire to reach the top of technology of dynamic and creative young people. Accompanying the Organizing Committee, NGK Spark Plugs once again became a sponsor of the Media Awards - an important award within the framework of the contest.

The Media Awards are based on the scoring of the teams' registration videos. The content of these videos depicts the idea of designing a model car using environmentally friendly materials, and saves the memorable moments of the members in the process of building that car to participate in the Mini Car Racing 2021 competition.
