On 17th October, the Southeast Asian Intellectual Property Enforcement Agency (IP KEY SEA) held a workshop to exchange experiences in the issue of intellectual property enforcement in customs and border control at Novotel Saigon.

This workshop is part of a series of multinational events aimed at further strengthening the coordination and participation of local law enforcement agencies in curbing trade in goods that infringe intellectual property rights.

Until now, infringing items such as counterfeit and counterfeit goods have been an important issue in the region as the presence of these products reduces the development of product lines, endangers consumers and limits economic development. IP KEY SEA expects to promote intellectual property enforcement at both local and regional levels to help address these issues.
In this workshop, Mr. Tran Thanh Kha – Senior Manager of NGK Vietnam Spark Plug had an exchange of experiences in exchanging contacts between owners and customs authorities.

In addition, Mr. Kha also shared stories in the journey to fight counterfeit goods and protect the brand rights of NGK spark plugs.
