Recently, the functional forces of provinces such as Ho Chi Minh City, Dak Lak, Dong Thap under the support of NGK Vietnam and anti-counterfeiting unit Vina CHG have detected and destroyed many places selling fake motorbike parts of famous brand NGK.
Specifically, in Ho Chi Minh City, the 2A Market Management Team, Ho Chi Minh City Market Management Department, after searching Pham Chi Motorbike Parts Store, No. 1091 Luong Bán Bich, Tan Son Nhi Ward, Tan Phu District owned by Pham Chi Dung, found 100 fake spark plugs branded NGK.
The 2A Market Management Team made a record of administrative violations and seized all the forged spark plugs, sealing the exhibits. On 24th August, 2018; Mr. Phan Hoan Kiem, Director General of Ho Chi Minh City Market Management Department issued an administrative sanction against the owner of Pham Chi store, Mr. Pham Chi Dung, and suspended the store's business for 2 months.
Accordingly, the total fine is 10 million VND, including the act of selling counterfeit goods and trading in smuggled goods and destroying all counterfeit goods.
In Dak Lak province, on 15th June, 2018; the Dak Lak Market Management Department issued an administrative sanction of VND 6 million and suspended business activities for 2 months for Nguyen Minh Thanh's motorcycle parts store at 75 Le Hong Phong, Buon Ma Thuot City, Dak Lak Province.
Searching Nguyen Minh Thanh's shop, Dak Lak provincial authorities found 44 motorbikes with fake NGK brand (type C5HSA).
In Dong Thap, after investigating and searching at Thai Dien motorbike parts store owned by Mr. Nguyen Thai Dien, located at 53-55 Cach Mang Thang 8 Street, Ward 2, Cao Lanh City, Dong Thap, 55 fake spark plugs of NGK brand were found.
With the above violation, on 05th September, 2018; Dong Thap functional forces issued an administrative sanction of VND 6 million, confiscated all exhibits and suspended Mr. Nguyen Thai Dien's store business for 2 months.
Thus, along with the determination to "declare war on counterfeit and counterfeit goods" of NGK Vietnam, under the support of Vina CHG's anti-counterfeiting unit, the functional forces have destroyed many fake goods trading points, contributing to protecting the interests of consumers, especially near the end of the year, when counterfeit and counterfeit goods show signs of a strong outbreak in the market.
Previously, Vina CHG and NGK Vietnam worked closely with authorities in many provinces and cities to detect and destroy many trading points of counterfeit goods and counterfeit brands.
This is said to be an effort to combat the trade in counterfeit brands of motorcycle spare parts products of NGK Vietnam, in order to protect the safety of users, avoid the use of counterfeit vehicle parts, hide many dangers when participating in traffic.
